Some updates on some previously posted: 

new painting

so i started this new painting on a whim cause i liked the shadows in the picture and the exposure seemed to fit well with something id like to convey.  Its a pic of one of my sister school photos. Ive worked up an under-drawing on a grey gesso ground.  From there i layed down some browns and yellows . Then another layer of  of that on top with reds and burnt sienna. This picture is of the last layer i just put down starting to work in some flesh tones, and further darkening and glazing in the darkest areas. Picture quality is horrible.

been a little over a month now.....

sorry bout the camera phone, but you get that its not that shitty of a painting anymore
